Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was not only highly interesting, it was also easy to comprehend. A schedule was already set for students to follow and students are able to really engage with the subject by relating the textbook material to real life.

    Course highlights:

I learned that everything is connected. What may seem to be a "new invention" may have already been discovered thousands of years ago. I also learned that the history I know is actually not very accurate. Discrimination existed in the past, as it continues to this day, and hid true accomplishers behind false ones.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook, attend lecture and section, and turn in assignments on time.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dorm life at UCSB is a great experience. I'm currently a freshman living in San Nic. You really can't go wrong location-wise. Right across the street from two dining commons, a five minute walk to the University Center, a five minute walk to the beach.

    Course highlights:

Also, the RAs take quiet hours VERY seriously, which is kind of annoying, and if you're gonna drink in your dorm (which almost everyone does) be very discreet, because they can be sneaky about catching you. If you live in FT I hear the RAs are far more lenient.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I've got friends at other schools whose rooms are never cleaned so we've really got it good on that front. The only drawbacks are the crammed quarters: nearly everyone is in a triple, even though the rooms are clearly made for doubles.
