We learned about the Somerset Case - The Argument Against Slavery between United States and London England in 1769. The Zong insurance case where insurance claim was filed for the loss of slaves during their voyage from Africa. And the Indian removal act of 1830. Authorizing the president Andrew Jackson to grant unsettled lands west of the Mississippi in exchange for Indian lands within existing state borders and relocating Indian through treaties like this Act of 1830 was another way to remove indian tribes from their native land.
