Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course a really interesting and humorous class. Professor is really passionate about what he talks about, and occasionally tries to tell Buddhist jokes. All the information you need is in his lectures.

    Course highlights:

I learned in essence the way Buddhism is and the different forms it has taken. How there are different ways to reach enlightenment, and not just in meditation alone. As well as how Buddhism came to China through the silk road, much like other things such as food and clothing. Also learned who was essentailly the first Buddhist, and what he taught. Would really recommend to a friend.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend you go to class and take well notes and you should be set for the class. You don't really have to do the reading, unless you get a TA that makes you do the reading and quizzes you. Don't buy any of the book, most will be available online. I recommend you get started early on the essays, as the are 2 5 page essays for the class.
