Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it allows students to view certain situations in a different perspective and realize that the longer we chose to ignore such discriminations, the worse these problems can get as well the oppression.

    Course highlights:

From this course we learned the history on how women of color were looked down upon in the past and how although it isn't as obvious, the problem continues today.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on track with all of the readings! If you get ahead, even better. Most of the material covered in class discussions will be about the readings. As long as you read and pay attention, you will have no problem passing the class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Course material was interesting and concise. Lectures were helpful, but if you missed a class, the lecture slides were always posted online.

    Course highlights:

I learned the concept of intersectional feminism, and my education on the marginalization of women of color increased from my previous feminist studies classes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the readings, and participate in your section a lot. Go to office hours to talk to the professor or your TA if you have questions or clarifications. They DO want to help.
