Pretty easy, overall.
Professor Strathman is incredibly knowledgeable on the course material or anything else pertaining to international relations. He is an excellent professor, and is willing to thoroughly explain a concept beyond what he has written on his powerpoints.
PS 126 covers what makes a state secure, threats to national security, and the threats that are generated by insecurity in the international system. We spent time discussing terrorism and non-state actors as threats to the international systems, and rivals to states for power in the international system. We also discuss threats, credibility, and decision-making leaders face, exploring whether leaders really impact decision-making at all.
