    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

this course can help students to come up with their own experiments after they understand the material on the book and the notes, and cause them to think more critical about concepts not just memorize them. the development of the nervous system is more like a story that is very interesting and this course shows the step by step the development of the neurons.

    Course highlights:

This course encourages students to think more rational and critical about concepts and analyze the experiments that were done by scientists based on the knowledge that was taught in the class and the book.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

study their notes after the class and try to think out of the box while they are studying. Do not memorize the concepts but try to question themselves why the experiments are important, how each concept is related to this experiment, and try to understand it not memorize it. ask TAs for help,

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is pretty difficult to keep up with because it is very dense but the information you learn is interesting and Feinstein is a very cool teacher. He always makes sure to keep you intrigued in what you learn. The tests, however, are very difficult because the class is experimental based.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about experimental neuroscience which I thought was the highlight of the course as a whole. The tests also teach critical thinking.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class everyday and study everyday. Make sure to pay attention to the experimental information given to you in the articles and during section.
