Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Since the May 2014 tragedy, the school has taken measures during events such as Deltopia (spring dayger) and Halloween to enhance protection. Some would argue that this has detracted from the fun of the event.

    Course highlights:

Instead of it being fun, now you just walk around and see a bunch of cops watching you. Frankly the police presence is necessary, in my opinion. Crime does happen a lot in IV, and when it gets really crowded out here, it's more likely that bad things will happen.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Greeks are not well-respected on campus. People generally think of them as elitist, snobby, and privileged, and it doesn't help that we have sexual assault allegations against fraternities constantly. There are a variety of organizations on campuses, and in recent years several chapters have closed for reasons related to hazing.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

We are all subject to our own biases and never do we actually pause to reflect how it is we've come to possess them. Take this course! It will open your eyes to matters that we more than often take for granted. We will learn from ourselves, most importantly you will learn that this world isn't all sugar coated as one is trained to believe.

    Course highlights:

The professor is a genius! She is thought-provoking, an intellect who is not afraid to question the status quo and call things out for what they are. This course will reveal the histories concealed from this country. Go into depth of all the national and international schemes that predispose marginalized peoples to a cycle of self-fulfilling prophesies. It will open your eyes.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not hesitate. The prospect of learning is a privilege. To be in a class where a professor is actually invested in your learning could not be a better thing especially in these type of environments, but you will have to be just as invested in your learning.
