    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend child development because the course and the exams were catered to different learning styles. There were visuals, audios, discussions, multiple choice and free response. Dr. Mireles-Rios is an amazing instructor and was always willing to help the students as well as the teacher assistants.

    Course highlights:

One of the major highlights I took from this course is that environmental factors that affect a child's development does affect their academic achievement. It is important to understand the students background to design and implement lesson plans that will be most beneficial to them.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advice the students considering to take this course to enroll in it because it is a course designed to make sure the student learns and passes. The instructors and teacher assistants are very helpful and willing to meet with students during office hours. The course is very interesting and we learn why children act the way they do in school and other places. Always do the readings because it will be easier to engage in discussions during section.
