    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved Business Calculus. In the past, I have always liked math. I was a little apprehensive going into this course, because I had not taken a math class since high school. I had never even taken a Calculus class before. However, this class was so much fun. Professor Newberger explained the concepts in a very easy way to learn and it made the content very interesting. She got me very intrigued with Calculus and I thoroughly enjoyed going to class and doing the problems. The class was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be.

    Course highlights:

I really liked doing the group projects that went along with this course. It was fun to get along with my group members and do the problems together. The projects were very simple, and came with detailed instructions. I learned many Calculus concepts, that specifically applied to Business. I thought that this type of math was very practical and was fun.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend to just do practice problems. When you don't understand a concept, practice it, or get help, until you fully understand it. Don't just skip past it, because concepts build on top of each other. Do a problem, then check your answer. If you got it right, move on to a different topic. If you got it wrong, see why you got it wrong, and really try to learn it. See why the problems are solved the way the are, don't just memorize the information. Math can be really fun!
