Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class transforms you into the Greek world as it was or might have been through clever and entertaining anecdotal lectures by the professor. He also makes you appreciate how our own culture is influenced by the Greeks and why we shouldn't take them for granted.

    Course highlights:

Personally, the highlight of this course was being immersed in the brand new world of a god, that up until that point I had never heard of nor realized how he paved the way for many belief systems of today; Dionysus. It was enthralling to recount history and similar genesis and origin stories from other cultures and understanding how the worship of this previous god has been taken forganted and pushed into the unfair category of a diminutive god ever since the Christian spread of religion.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to all is to read the stories before hand so you can become part of the narrative and connect it to your own personal life. I also suggest you come to this class with an open mind that's willing to let go of your pride.
