    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it is important to know the basics of statistics in order to do well in higher levels of statistics.

    Course highlights:

In this course I earned my points by completing my homework with the correct answers. The homework was a big factor in helping me learn and understand the concepts in each chapter. When i was unsure about my answers, i attended tutoring hours where the TA was available to help students work out a problem,

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to attend all class meetings and fully engage in the presentations. It is important to understand what the professor is trying to teach because the homework for the week will focus on the concepts the professor presents during that week. Also consider working on the homework as soon as it assigned because there are a lot of questions and each require a lot of math work.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The professor is easily distracted by the smallest subjects, and does not do a good job at relaying the course material. He struggles to motivate students to learn the material, and overall makes class time seem like a waste.

    Course highlights:

Most of the subject material covered is fairly basic. This is an introductory course so most of the material covered is stuff that was most likely covered at the high school level. If you do the homework you do not need to do much additional studying to do well on the tests.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework! A large part of your grade is reliant on your homework grade. The exams have questions that are similar to the material on the homework. Attendance is not necessarily mandatory, he randomly will take it so as long as you keep up on the homework and show up for tests you should be fine.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because she makes it easier to learn Statistics by being able to separate the different concepts which makes it more easier to understand.

    Course highlights:

I learned about being more organized.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take lots of notes and remember formulas!
