    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Every day started with an interactive activity that forces you to learn something new about yourself. Then you delve into cultural norms in relations to the daily topic. She records every lecture and posts them online so you can reference when completing study guides. She also has very in depth study guides, if you complete them then the tests should be easy. I have never been so excited to learn and to share my experience with friends. My thought process was constantly challenged, but I left every class feeling empowered by the knowledge she bestowed upon us. I recommend this class to any student of any major because the lessons apply to everyone. This course made me a more compassionate person, inspired to make changes.

    Course highlights:

This course highlights cultural norms and how society conditions people to think and act. It covers a lot of hot topics like gender stereotypes, eating disorders, rape, sexuality, etc.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Come in with an open mind. Be honest and objective. Participate in discussions. Do your study guides!

    Course highlights:

To begin with the course really allowed to get a better understanding of how our community and society shapes the way we think. I became more aware of things, people, and events in my own life that have influenced me and molded me into being the person I am today.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Relate the concepts that you are learning in this class to events, people, and situations that take place in your world. That's the best way to really make sure you have grasped the material. Applying it to the real world will help you perform better on the exams.
