    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a very interesting class in seeing the events and the people that contributed to modern-age America.

    Course highlights:

I learned much of what happened during the last century and the discussions we would have were some of the best ones I had been a part of.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Get the book, review the notes A LOT and always ask questions when you aren't sure of something

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a general ed course, and it was required to take despite whatever major. The class was interesting and I learned more in depth about recent U.S. History. It would get white boring sometimes, it's history, but it was interesting.

    Course highlights:

I learned that the United States was made through colonialism, which happens to be a negative process that our teachers in the past made us overlook. I learned that many of the programs we have today were made in part because of the civil rights movement, and the many other movements made in part by people of color. I also learned that the government made stupid mistakes when it came to causing wars, and that many innocent lives were taken because the United States wanted to come out on top even though they were already. Interestingly enough, Hitler based his tactics of the harsh and cruel treatment he made on the Jews, from slavery in the U.S. Recent U.S. History is interesting!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes. Do the discussions every week. Read! Study!
