Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I learned so much about society, how it works, and how the way society is set up benefits some groups and disadvantages others. This is invaluable information regardless of which major or field of study you are in, because we are all part of society and play different roles in it.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the in class discussions about the things that we read about in the textbook, and there wasn't much homework besides the occasional one page write up about class discussions and the two papers in the syllabus. I learned so much about race, class and gender and what intersectionality is.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you ask questions about the papers. Even if you think you know what you should do, clarify with the instructor just in case you are incorrect. Also, showing up to class is very important because the in class discussions is the bulk of the course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Wilson was the professor that made me fall in love with sociology because he was so passionate about his teachings. He made class fun to go to. He was easy to learn from because he made constant jokes to the class.

    Course highlights:

I loved when we had to create a video about a sociological topic. It let everyone in the class bring out their creative side versus just test taking skills. Going in, I knew nothing about sociology but found out that I loved the topic enough to have it as my major.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course does have a lot of work and there are easier teachers. With that being said, he is one of the best professors I have still had 2 years later.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The only reason I wouldn't reccomend this class is because of the profressor, he's not very professional.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class were being able to develop my writing capabilities and learning more about society as a whole.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:
