    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

There are some multiple choice questions but not enough to boost your score.

    Course highlights:

This is a very difficult class and don't recommend it to anyone looking for an elective.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I agree. The information in the class is very interesting, but the exams and lab practicals are nearly impossible, and most of the class fails. I had to drop it myself.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Interesting topic but HUGE time investment. It's not recommended to take a lot of difficult courses in addition to this class.

    Course highlights:

Knowing C++ is helpful. The labs are very beneficial, even if the grading system is not in the student's favor.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Debug your code! It makes learning about how the program works and finding the problem in the code a lot easier.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Requires a HUGE time investment. Don't take with a lot of difficult courses. The grade setup for labs is not in your favor, but the course itself is interesting.

    Course highlights:

The most of the learning comes from the labs. If possible, have your own copy of the software used because it's only on the computers in about 4 computer labs that tend to be occupied often.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Actually debug your code! You learn much more and it's quicker to identify what the problem is.
