Not only was the subject matter super interesting, but it taught me how to survive a university course. The projects were aimed at teaching you how to find and properly site resources which became a very useful skill later when writing essays for other courses. Reading the Illiad gave you a chance to try and learn by yourself, but if you didn't understand then the seminars were there to help you understand and address any problems you had. It was a great course to ease students into their first semester of university.
