    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was my favourite course of the school year! Gary Burness definitely made the course! He talks about many real life examples of various animals in relation to the themes that we are learning in class. It is these real life examples that kept me intrigued and wanting to hear and learn more, and many of the examples are quite comical too! I would highly recommend the course!

    Course highlights:

We learned a lot about natural selection and kin selection. The latter was a new concept to me and was very interesting. The labs were also pretty cool for this class, it involved using an online simulator where we create situations and track the evolution of animals according to the situation we created.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Have fun with it! Keep up with the lecture notes and really try to understand the concepts rather than memorizing everything! This is a tip I would give for all courses in general!
