Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Selby made what could be a very boring class, interesting. He is very animated, and engages with the students on a personal level. His passion for geography is infectious, and he made me want to learn more!

    Course highlights:

This course was focused on the Earth's physical features, climate, population, etc,... I learned about different rock types, fossils, earth history, plate tectonics, and so much more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend sitting in the front of the class, and engaging as much as possible. Selby is a fun teacher to start a discussion with.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Geography 101 is a great course to learn about geographic and geological processes and the evolution of the earth, environment, and atmosphere and the various factors around it. I think it's important to have a fundamental understanding of the world we live in and its impact on our survival, and Geography 101 is a great class to take for that understanding.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course is when we begin to learn about the evolution of the Earth and its atmosphere and how these changes and processes led to plants and life forms on Earth. We also learned about climate change, which is an obviously important topic at this point in our human history, and the factors that cause it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take a lot of notes, study 45 minutes to an hour every day or two.
