Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Before anyone has children, they should take this class. When you consider everything a person has to do to obtain a driver's license, the act of raising children is something far more important and demanding that requires attention. This class isn't just for aspiring parents or those who want to get better at raising children. All of us know how our parents raised us, and everyone can benefit from learning to identify abuse and neglect.

    Course highlights:

How do children learn, and what are the right and wrong ways to discipline and care for your children? How do you really define abuse and neglect? The answers will surprise you. When abuse or neglect take place, what do any of us do? Is a neglected, abused, or sexually molested child always removed from the home? How do various organizations work today to ensure the wellbeing of the child as well as the family?

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Dr. Moschetti publishes her expectations and divides the work in weekly chunks. Use the weekly syllabus to manage your calendar, and complete all assignments to get an A. She tells you everything you need to know. The book is also available online, which certainly helps those who prefer to not lug a hundred books around or who want to read a much larger print.
