    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would absolutely recommend studying every single day for this course. At least an hour or so. If you don't do so there is a large chance of falling behind as the chapter practice problems take a long time to complete.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was learning reduction of alcohols to alkanes, cleavage of alcohol hydroxyl group, dehydration of alcohols to form alkenes, cleavage of hydroxyl proton, electrophilic additions, reduction: catalytic hydrogenation, addition of carbenes, and oxidative additions .

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study every single day. Perhaps only one other difficult course should be taken concurrently.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course to people who wants to continue their education or career in the field of biology/chemistry. I learned about carbon compounds, their properties and reactions.

    Course highlights:

We learned about carbon compounds such as, Alkanes, Alkenes, ethers, alcohols, etc. We also learned about the chemical properties, synthesis, reactions of each type of organic compounds.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not mesmerize reactions. Try to understand mechanisms.
