Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Findlay is so passionate about the material he teaches. If you take a class with Findlay, you will never fall asleep. I guarantee it. If you like Powerpoint slides and lectures that go on and on, this class isn't for you. However, if you want to engage in meaningful, intellectual discussion about various religions, this is the class for you. Findlay is a character for sure and you definitely won't regret taking his class.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the three basic aspects of various religions. In this course, you discuss and engage in different religions. There is a site visit project, which was my favorite part of the course. I traveled to a Taoist temple in Chinatown and spent the day learning about their religion and practice.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend going to his office hours, for help or just to chat. He wants to help you succeed; he will be your personal cheerleader. One last thing--I cannot stress this enough--do the readings and do your Moodle discussion posts.
