Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Chemistry is apart of our everyday life. Regardless of us noticeing we are surrounded by chemistry . I strongly believe everyone should have atleast have a basic understanding of every subject.

    Course highlights:

Ive actually have learned to be very careful when doing calculation. This subject does contain a lot of math so be very carefully with doing so anylittle mistake can set you off.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

READ!! Reading the actually chapter before the lecture will help you perform a lot better in the course. Even if I initially when reading it you might not quite understand, but take note on the things you have question on and during the lecture focus on the items you had trouble with

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because she really helps you to understand the basics of chemistry and challenges you to do better. She makes you do the work and loves to help out students learn and figure out chemistry.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were learning stoichiometry, the periodic table, naming compounds, writing out chemical equations, and limiting reactants. I learned how to convert from one unit to another with ease as well.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to put in the work, go visit her office hours and the tutoring center if you have any question or just need help.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this course because it isn't too difficult. Now obviously you would still have to put in effort if you want a good grade, but the material itself isn't so bad.

    Course highlights:

This class helped me network with some of the other Biology majors on campus. Studying in groups was always useful, but just make sure if you plan on studying in a group you choose partners who actually want to study.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're only taking this as a GE because you don't have a strong science background, I recommend reviewing the material right after class if you have time. Stay on top of your homework and try reviewing some of the new material before lecture starts.
