    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it thought me that we are starting a journey in college, and sometimes we will not get the outcome that we expect to get but we shouldn't let that stop us. There are things that we may not get but that means that we have to find other ways to understand and continue on. I didn't get the grade I wish for and I got disappointed in myself but I'm making it a lesson to learn and instead of bringing me down make it motivate me to try harder.

    Course highlights:

This course was hard for me but it thought me to be stronger and more focus. I took with me how bad society is and that we need to work hard to succeed so that we can make a difference in society. We are a generation that can bring change therefore, we need to stay focus on our goal. There is a lot of discrimination and property and maybe we are in a category like that but we should never give up and be a better person. Be good to others and others will be good to you.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book for the course and study hard. Every lecture is only 1 and a half hours so after go over what you learn and think like a sociologist to do good in this class. The rest can be confusing so take your time on each question no one is rushing you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is very interesting and the way the professor explains the terms is easy to remember. I was really interested and even made me consider becoming a sociologist.

    Course highlights:

I learned how society works, especially how we as a people react towards something that is "out of the norm". I also learned how we as humans think and what are reactions are towards religion.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

take notes and really try to use the powerpoint as a guide.
