    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course specifically with professor Beverly Hernandez. She knows how to teach the material well.

    Course highlights:

I gained the skills needed for future math courses without a hassle.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Finish the classwork and homework. Study each specific section in the workbook before the exams.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is very difficult if math is one of your weaker subjects. I got tutored weekly for this course and it was mainly difficult due to the instructor. Her explanations were always unclear and never seemed to be able to help everyone in the class that had questions. Unless you are ver good at math and can basically teach yourself the material with the workbook, I would not recommend this course.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was putting in hard work and getting results. I got tutored every week and would study a lot for the tests and got As on the first 2 tests because of my study habits. I learned that cramming is never a good idea and that extra help goes a long way.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are thinking about taking this course, be ready to review and study on your own time a lot. There are many students taking this lass and only one professor. The material isn't too difficult if you have a tutor but study ahead to give yourself an extra cushion of time to learn topics you are struggling with.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is required by the science, engineering majors so if you're here there is no way out. But me for example I didn't need it, and spent money on a class that wouldn't help me graduate.

    Course highlights:

I learned new ways to solve many equations, and was challenged throughout the semester.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed, you need to really need to study, and never put off homework. It really adds up and you will probably regret being on your phone.
