    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Hall was such an amazing professor! If you are at all worried to take medical microbiology then you have to take her. She is incredibly thorough, goes over everything in detail, her exams are exactly like her review, and her practicals are exactly everything you did in lab! I made a 100 on those plus the bonus. If you are struggling she encourages you to meet with her outside of class and she helps so much! best professor I've ever taken. Plus she is very nice and caring and funny as well.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of clinical application. She was really good at relating what we learned in lecture into a clinical situation. she know's that most of her students taking the class are pursuing a education in the medial field so she really try and does a great job at teaching us concepte beyond the textbook and relating them to real like situations.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you do not just read her powerpoints, whatever is on them look them up in the text book and further study them. It's good to have a good understanding because in exams questions can be asked in any direction so if you really know a idea or concept you won't struggle to answer anything.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is typically a pre-requirement for many health related areas of study. The instructor does know the course material well and is straight forward with her approach to teaching the class.

    Course highlights:

Lab exercises were enjoyable and learned a lot about the different aspects of how bacteria, parasites, and viruses affect the human body and the types of diseases that they cause.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study. It is a lot of information and you have to devote the time to it to make sure you understand the material.
