Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

History 1301 is the basic class for all students. Professor Holmes is very nice and willing to help us success. Moreover, I really learnt a lot in this class. Before taking this class, I am not good at history, but I reallly did a good job in this class.

    Course highlights:

Beofre taking this calss, I am not good at U.S. History, but after taking it, I had basic background information of it. Also, Professor Holmes will help me finish my essay, and he is willing to answer questions. Therefore, I did a good job in writing my essays.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The textbook is not that important, but Professor Holmes's handout and reading assignments are really important. If you study the reading assignments and pay attention to the class, you would be fine and get an A.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor west is the best teacher ever. He takes his time with you and is always there to help you out. He gives lots of extra point assignments along the way. I would recommend his classes to everyone.

    Course highlights:

We learned about the discovery, exploration, and development of this country. The Indians role in the development of this country is also explored as well as the slave trade. It is very important that slavery be addressed in its real form and it did.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would highly recommend you read your book. Establish a study pattern that helps you navigate through the book. Look at the extra credit stuff online that the teacher provides. And make sure you get a good study group to study with.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course not because the history is that interesting but the Professor portrays passion not only in her course but also towards her teaching. She cares for her student and ensure to make her lesson to be more than just reading out from the textbook.

    Course highlights:

The videos that she shared about the days during slavery.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do the assignment and participate in class.
