Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone who needs an introduction to public speaking.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about how to calm my nerves before a speech, how to organize a speech, and how to present a speech well.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do the written work and show up to class on the days that you are speaking.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class, because it is an easy and informative course. I took this class as a 5 week class and passed with an A. Although, there was alot of work and you have to write and perform a speech. This professor was really helpful and kind!

    Course highlights:

I learned that after taking 4 years of speech and debate in high-school, you still need to keep up with your skills if you don't want to get rusty. This class has taught me the different ways and meanings behind speech and personal thought. It also teaches you how to control stage fright.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This is a core class, so I suggest students take it as soon as possible to get it out of the way. The best time to take this course would be the summer due to it not being as difficult as more difficult classes that would need a whole semester. In general, taking all of the classes that are easy for the student during the summer is the best route to graduating early, and relaxing more during the fall and spring semester with more difficult classes.
