    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It truly teaches you about Texas government and it is easily understandable when Dr. Apanda teaches it.

    Course highlights:

I learned all about Texas government including the seven constitutions and how they affect the operation process of our government today.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the practice questions and the questions he emails you. Take notes on the checkmark slides and especially the parts which are in a blue textbox or hilighted/bolded.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I loved this course! I learned so much about government and what is really going on behind the scenes. My professor was hard but I put in the work and got an A!

    Course highlights:

I learned about the workings of government in texas and about various issues surrounding low voter turnout and wealth distribution in the social classes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Motivation is the primary need. Also, be prepared to do a lot of reading.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Heidi is an amazing teacher who really cares about her students education. She does require you to participate and work in groups, but the reasoning for this is because in the real world you will have to work with others and communicate.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for myself was the courts system. I didn't know too much about the courts and how they work, but after taking this course I was very knowledgeable about the subject. Another highlight of this course was going to the prison and getting an inside look on what goes on. We were in our prison/court systems section of the lecture. She loves using examples where you can relate more to what she is explaining and if you don't understand she does not mind going into depth. I absolutely loved this course and her as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I advise you to get use to participating. No, this is not what this class is based on, but if you really want to enjoy it you should take my advice. Do not lie. She is a very understanding teacher and as long as you inform her on what is going on she will be wiling to work with you. Also, do not be consistently late, that plays a role in your grade.
