    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor isn't clear on what he wants from the papers he assigns and grades too hard.

    Course highlights:

There are very thorough lectures about Texas and its policies as well as politics and government itself.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Meet with the professor beforehand to really understand what he's looking for in assignments.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It truly teaches you about Texas government and it is easily understandable when Dr. Apanda teaches it.

    Course highlights:

I learned all about Texas government including the seven constitutions and how they affect the operation process of our government today.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the practice questions and the questions he emails you. Take notes on the checkmark slides and especially the parts which are in a blue textbox or hilighted/bolded.

I learned about the workings of government in texas and about various issues surrounding low voter turnout and wealth distribution in the social classes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Motivation is the primary need. Also, be prepared to do a lot of reading.
