    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

She made the class extremely relaxing for all. Many were nervous in the beginning of the course because they have never done public speaking before, and by the end of the course, most did not feel an ounce of nervousness. This is because she gives amazing feedback and really tries to mentor us.

    Course highlights:

The course is very easy to work in and you are able to ask many questions if you need it. She even reviews your outline with you before you speak.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Pick topics you are comfortable talking about if you are new to public speaking. If you aren't new, be creative.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend it, because Professor Peterson is a great teacher. She always leaves time for questions, and is not seeking out to fail anyone. Argumentation is a great communicative skill to have, as well.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to debate and be convincing in arguments without being offensive.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention! Toulmin's theory on argumentation is not easy. And don't be absent; you'll loose points that way. Attendance is key.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She was a great professor and was very straight forward! All homework assignments were relevant to the class and fun. Her tests were a bit challenging but as long as you followed her instructions on how to study for it you would be fine. The hardest part of the class was the formal debate at the end, its a lot of work but if you needed help or had any questions she was always willing to help.

    Course highlights:

The class discussions were always so interesting for we talked about current events or interesting general knowledge. In our discussions we would apply knowledge we learned in class to formulate and analyze arguments. Something that was very unique to this class was she had us do assignments on happiness, what it meant to be happy and what made us happy. This class was a blast and most of the time it didn't feel like formal academic class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

She gives out a lot of small assignments, as long you are on top of that and don't do poorly on the major point assignment you will pass!
