    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I honestly did not know what to expect from this course in the beginning. But once the semester had started, I felt confident that I would get a good grade. The professor was very understanding, and a great lecturer. I already knew some of the material due to taking Biology and AP Biology in high school, and the new information stuck easily because of the easy to understand lectures. Reading the text book was also a huge component in helping me do good on tests.

    Course highlights:

What stuck with me the most was learning about the different forms of life, and how bacteria was everywhere. Did you know humans have more bacterial cells than any other! We are 90% bacteria. I also remember Darwin's finches, and the different types of speciation: allopatric and sympatric.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class, you will need to attend the lectures, and take notes. Reading the book is very crucial, because hearing the information once does not mean you will have it memorized till the test (and final). Repetition is key!
