    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course because this course is taught by this professor in a way that only a geography major would understand. The information can be interpreted in many ways that are incorrect and the professor avoids explaining the material directly. She seems to avoid answering questions simply, yet tends to explain it in a way that confuses the students even more.

    Course highlights:

As challenging as this course was, I did learn a lot about the basis of why physical issues on Earth occur. I unfortunately did not grasp the in depth details of why, but I still have a general idea of why certain things occur. I also learned important study habits. Due to the accelerated rate of the course and the difficulty of the material, in order to succeed, I had to implicate the proper strategies to get a basic grasp of the content needed for the exams.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend attending all classes and lectures. This professor often has pop quizzes and they cannot be made up if they are missed. It is important to try and get all the points you possibly can in this course. Also, make sure to develop good study habits prior to this course that way it is easier to succeed from the beginning rather than trying to catch up as the semester has already gotten going.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor provides students with helpful notes, study guides, and class exercises to prepare us for exams, and midterms.

    Course highlights:

In this class I have learned more about the Earth's layers, how fog and clouds formed, and about sun inclination and declination. I also learned why the sky is blue.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to the lecture and take detailed notes.
