Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course, while scary at first because you have to read in front of the class, does allow you to talk about topics that you like or find interesting to share with other students, thus everyone can at least learn something from your speeches. And the professor understands how it feels like to give speeches and is pretty cool with everyone and making them feel comfortable.

    Course highlights:

Because of my speeches, I was able to improve my public speaking skills as well as getting over my fear of reading in front of my classmates. I still got nervous every now and then, but I enjoyed talking about subjects like problems in our education system or the ratings system in Hollywood, and sharing it with other people. Plus, you can learn something out of the speeches about things you might not have known.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be open and don't be too afraid of giving a speech. It's okay to be nervous. Everyone else is too.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I reccommend this course because from being a students who hates public speaking this class wasnt all to bad. You become comfortable with your classmates and what makes it easier is that everyone feel the same way (nervous) some more than others. This class is overall a fun class and you can speak your mind.

    Course highlights:

From taking the course you gain a better understanding on how to communicate in public and how to present certain topics without being nervous.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you dont procrastinate on your speeched, you want to start them as soon as possible and constantly rehearse.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course because it can prepare you for public speaking, which is a skill that we can all use and be successful at, especially in the future. Professor Bendelhoum is a very caring and accommodating professor who provides you with good feedback for your speeches. You''ll definitely learn a lot from her class and will be able to use the concepts and feedback from the class in the future.

    Course highlights:

I definitely liked all of the speeches that we made in the class, even though I did have stage fright in the beginning. Professor Bendelhoum has a very nice and fun approach when teaching, which definitely alleviates the stress of preparing and conducting the speeches. I learned way to become a better speaker and I will use the feedback she has given me to improve myself as a speaker in the future. She is a fair professor and really cares about her students and their overall success.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to go to all the lectures and really make the time to prepare for the speeches. The speeches make up a good portion of your overall grade, but if you really devote your time and make the effort to prepare for them, then it shouldn't be too difficult to earn a good grade in the class.
