Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it because I personally enjoyed the courses broad history with specific details thrown in. The lectures overall will be very interesting. She also is connected with students and uses their feedback in lecture.

    Course highlights:

I loved watching history videos about specific time periods. This allowed me to write better history papers. This visual captured what it would look like in the time period itself.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to read from both the book and study from the PowerPoint. This is crucial because you will be tested weekly and be asked to write about excerpts.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it provides a great overview of U.S history. History is not my favorite subject, but I really enjoyed the class.

    Course highlights:

I got a better understanding of U.S history. I learned about the factors that contributed to the creation of the America we know today. Pretty fun course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes on what the professor says rather than spending time copying down notes from the slides. Spend a good amount of time on study guides.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

A lot of what I learned in History 146 had a lot of relevance to my current course Political Science 203. For example, the history of how America was formed along with the bill of rights and constitution we learned in history is exactly what we learned again in political science.

    Course highlights:

We learned about the bill of rights along with how America was formed throughout the over 240 years of its history. We also learned about the civil rights movements and how it still has an impact on society today.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook , ask questions, and don't be afraid to email the professor if you still are confused on the lectures. Also, do the study guide and study at least a week before the exam.
