    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

ACC/422 is an informative course and has information to learn that could be useful in the real world. I would suggest, if you are not a disciplined learner and need the structure of a classroom to get things done, you probably wouldn't want to take a course such as this. It is a very difficult class (at least it was for me) and it requires a LOT of study time. It would be difficult even in a classroom so online was even harder. I would also suggest using an accounting tutor if available and ASK QUESTIONS!

    Course highlights:

I gained confidence in my ability to learn something new about the accounting field. I also learned that there is way more to accounting than just adding and subtracting amounts of purchases and sales. There are several financial statements (documents) that all accountants must be familiar and comfortable with, and that is where it all starts! It is a fun field! Go into it with a positive attitude and you will do great. Be open minded, and again!, ask questions!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to set aside enough time to study and be involved with your learning. Start early in the week as each online class is five weeks long and there is a lot of material each week. If you wait until the end you will find that it is not easy to catch up. It is recommended that you devote 16+ hours each week to each class, as they are accelerated learning courses.
