    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Jetonga Keel was very helpful and she cared about her students, She did a lot for me. I just wish that I could have put more effort into the class. I have become very stressed out over school and financial issues. It is hard to handle that kind of stress. I personally did not handle the stress very well and it affected my grades in this class, I would love to take it again, however I do not have the funds to take it again. Professor Keel understood and worked with me anyway that she could and she will never know how much this meant to me.

    Course highlights:

I learned that Communication is very important. Whether you are communicating with your husband, son, daughter, mother, father, or a coworker. I also learned that a lot of experts have come to the conclusion that we spend most of our day listening, instead of reading, writing, or speaking. If you think about it, without communication we would not be able to make things or find out information that may be valuable,. There are two ways to communicate, these are Verbal Communication and Non-Verbal Communication. People use both of these on a daily basis. Verbal communication is when someone has an idea and the person has to turn this idea into symbols and gestures. The person has to make sure that the other people can understand what the person is trying to say, Non-Verbal Communication is when someone uses hand gestures, body movements such as, shrugging of the shoulders, turning your back to someone , or even raising your hands like you are surprised and you really like the person;s idea. I also learned that there is a time to listen and then there is a time to speak. It is very important that you allow the person to finish what they are saying before you speak and let the other person know your ideas and thoughts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice that I would give to a student would be, to read all of the text book, read the electronic readings, and make sure that you are participating in the discussion forum. I would also tell the student, that he or she needs to make sure that he or she makes a copy of the timeline for the final assignment, and follow it to the letter, this will help you when finishing your final assignment. I was planning on doing this and I became stressed over the financial issue that I am having and i did not do this. I had to rush to submit something before the deadline and i am not proud of what I turned in. So if you do not listen to anything that I say, please do the timeline for the final assignment, it will help you immensely.
