Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

in healthcare, ethics is an important part of our job. We want to make sure that the people that are taking care of us have a strong moral and ethical background. We want to make sure that when we are in a situation that is serious that our healthcare providers are going to take the ethical road and assure us that we are getting the best care possible.

    Course highlights:

The discussions have been the highlight of the course. Our instructor is a lawyer specializing in healthcare law, so she has the educational background to show us the legal as well as ethical side of the laws. Ms. Soohey asks questions that are challenging as well as informative to us all and it will be a great asset to us as we continue our journey through school and into the healthcare field.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

The reading in this course if extremely important. Do not skip chapters and don't miss any of the discussions. In addition to the reading, there are extra articles that the instructor posts for further knowledge. It is a good course for those that are going into healthcare administration because it really makes you think about the issues that you could be involved in later in your career.
