Pretty easy, overall.
I thoroughly enjoyed the coursework in this class. The first few weeks were very easy, however I did struggle a bit with the last two. I learned a lot about communication, some of which I was very surprised about. Body language, tone of voice, and even appearance are all parts of communication. I never realized this before. I only thought of communication as a conversation. But after taking this class, I realize that it is much more complex than that.
Listening skills were a big part of week one. Week two focused on the differences and similarities between verbal and nonverbal communication. I learned a lot about communicating with people from other cultures. There are specific ways to communicate in written form, especially when it comes to the workplace. I enjoyed learning how to write an effective email to coworkers. I never realized the importance that social media has when it comes to communication in the work-place, but week 4 showed me that social media can be used for more than just posts and tweets.

Advice for students:
The best thing to do when taking this course is to begin your week 5 presentation early. I think that if I had started my week 5 final presentation in week 4 I could have created a much better presentation. As with all courses, do not try to jam all of your coursework in at the last minute.
