    Course Overview:

    HCS 325 provides tactical and strategic information that can be used in real world problems in the industry of the health care continuum. Skills and methods of managing fluctuations and changes within the industry is an essential skill to have because anything can change as health care variables changes as well. From technology, rising rates of aging baby boomers, staff shortage etc. An efficient leadership system is well explained in the course to be a resilient support system in health care management.

    Course highlights:

    I learned different ways to handle changes and emergencies in a health care organization when the time rise. Strategic planning is key to securing the sustainability and survivability of a company. From financial planning to market shares, competitive advantages, threats, weaknesses and the lot has taught me well in the different echelons of management.

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    Time management is very important when taking this course as there are plenty of reading materials, group case studies and essays to write. By managing your time well and putting priority daily activities into reasonable times, the course will work just nicely. Make sure to engage in extra curricular activities such as sports, gym, clubs etc to channel out times of stress and balancing inner conflict.
