The solutions of the graph of a quadratic equation are the x-coordinates of the points where the
graph crosses or touches the x-axis. For instance if the graph crosses the x-axis at (3,4), then one
solution of the quadratic equation is x=3.
The Pythagorean Theorem states that the square of the hypotenuse is equal to
the sum of the square of each of the legs.
