Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

An informative class about structural design. Hardly all you need to know to budget and start a building project, but definitely need to know information.

    Course highlights:

Building requirements, equipment requirements, and laws pertaining to the construction or remodeling of a healthcare facility.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely keep your notebook beside you to make notes and pay attention to the requirements for the design portions. The design simulation doesn't have all of the medical equipment you may need for your selected facility, but do your best to include what you need. I had to google some of the equipment to make sure I was including the correct items, that might be something you want to do.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Taught me the building constructor, regulations, codes to follow, design, anything to do with planning a facility. Things to include and what not to due to the patients and staff.

    Course highlights:

Designing my own outpatient Mental Healthcare facility. My goal is to own that type of facility i included my creative thoughts and learned the different regulations that it takes for the type of facility.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to bring out your creativity and research a lot of different programs and already established facilities. Work together and involve people with the project and involve who you can.
