Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is nicely divided into mathematical problems and writing papers to ensure there is a full grasp on the calculations. The material learned is helpfull for daily life as well.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to do certain complicated calculations easily on exel. I learned about investments and their benefits, as well as their risks along with how to calculate if the investment is beneficial to the business.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to plan for extra study time. Math calculations are hard to learn and understand by only reading.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I really like that the curriculum I am learning is so informative to different aspects of the certificate, however, I would like to see more financial aid opportunities as well as internships/job opportunities for after graduation.

    Course highlights:

I would like to see the university have some sort of outreach program to my specific region to help find employment.A unique tool at this school that I really enjoyed were the interactive games so it is fun to learn. I also like that the courses are broken down to better help me understand what's ahead.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

so I may plan accordingly. I am also a fan of how my whole experience is at my fingertips. There are so many helpful resources and links to make sure I understand and can get tasks done faster.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The text seemed to be unrelated to the assignments. This class included hours of calculations that never appeared in the text or on any test. There seemed to be a disconnect between the assignments and the text that left me frantically googling each week to find answers for the homework that were not in the class anywhere.

    Course highlights:

This class reminded me a bit of the algebra classes where you have to calculate ridiculous problems like "if john paid $100 for 60 watermelons and sells them for $8 each how many watermelons would it take to fill a swimming pool?" There were questions that had no relation to real life. I did however learn that should I ever need finance questions answered- Google is my friend.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to take advantage of the participation points each week. That will help. Don't spent too much time sweating over the math lab problems. they will take up the majority of your time and they account for a very small amount of your final score.
