    Course Overview:

    Business Research is a great course for anyone in the business management BS program. It teaches several ways to conduct research and uses statistics to help create data that can be used to determine best methods for decision making. It will be helpful for those pursuing to open their own business or work for companies.

    Course highlights:

    The research process was the highlighted discussion of the course. The book gave in-depth ways of how to work through this process to provide great data that companies can use to make good business decisions. Examples would be like to expand in new territories. This would require good research for a company to know if they are making a good investment in the expansion.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Read every chapter as directed and learn to navigate sites. The biggest challenge of this course is to ensure that all information collected is accurate. Also start early on course work each week. Many students make the mistake of waiting to the middle of the week to start work. This class requires an early start to make sure all course work knowledge sinks in before moving on to the weekly group and individual assignments.

    This course is both educational and fun to take. The student will get a change to do a taste study and rate the product.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights of the course is taking part in the activities. All activities are well worth it and can be applied to a market research career.

    Don't miss class. Each class you will learn a lot an take part in the activities.
