    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would, it gives you the opportunity to create your own "business" and develop all that it entails. It's pretty fun.

    Course highlights:

Taking the time to create, develop and sell a product. One of the assignments required us to do this.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be creative, this is your opportunity to believe that you are in fact establishing your own company or product. Have fun with it.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was an interesting course. The reading was more interesting than most other classes and seemed to take less time. Subject matter included advertising methods and how to go about promoting products/services and what management is looking for from the marketing department. The most difficult part for me was trying to write papers about a topic from the standpoint of a business owner in a specific scenario when I was not familiar with the business. Overall I enjoyed this course.

    Course highlights:

This instructor was very knowledgeable and was able to interject his own personal experiences with his work history. He had several fun stories that coincided with the week's topics. I learned that there is more to marketing than just commercials or print ads. Several things have to happen behind the scenes before the public is introduced to the product or service.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the chapters thoroughly and ask for clarification when needed. Research topics on the school library website as well as other sites to get a different view on topics.
