Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Psychology was such an interesting subject. I began the course with the expectation of learning all of this head doctor mambo jumbo, but I was pleasantly surprised. I not only learned about how the mind worked but I learned about different people from different places. I found the course to be quite extraordinary.

    Course highlights:

I learned about hereditary illnesses that can affect the minds thoughts and actions. I learned that an injury to the frontal lobe could make one lose their total ability to have compassion or emotion. I learned about tribes and rituals that are culturally different from those here in the states. I learned that we are more common than we are different, but that we are different none the less. Psychology suggests that we acknowledge these differences and embrace them

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Psychology is a great course to study even if you do not plan on being a psychologist. The subject matter made the course extremely interesting. There is an extreme amount of writing in APA style and the instructors are serious but nice and very helpful.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I encourage campus programs for the simple fact that it's 20 times harder to not have the help you need when you are solely an online student.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot taking online classes with UoP. Learning the instructions and outs of the human mind and different disorders was amaing. It allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the people around me.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention. Engage your classmates for deeper understanding of why they think the way they do. Maybe they have a mental disorder that they themselves are unaware of. And please, take lots of notes of the small things. Little details make up the big picture.
