    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    It is a great course to get a better understanding of marketing relationships we have with organizations as consumers of their products. Also to study why organizations market products they way they do.

    Course highlights:

    I know now why I shop the way I do and why I buy certain products and why I don't buy other products. As I earn my management degree, I will have to market myself to employers and as a manager market positions I am hiring for to prospective employees. Depending on my employer, I may be able to help with marking our organizations products and services better.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Stay focused and ask questions. Do all the reading and read it thoroughly. Ensure you have a place to do the reading, posts and paper writing so you are not disrupted or distracted. Do not turn on a tv, but music may help you. Eat healthy so your brain is functioning 100%. If you have a stressful work day, avoid working on coursework, if possible. Get support from family and your work.

    Course Overview:

    This course definitely taught me many of the finer points of marketing, and having a learning team to work with through the course was very helpful.

    Course highlights:

    We took the time to build a marketing plan for a "new product", and presented it to the class who then critiqued us and told us whether they would buy that product based on our marketing. It was a lot of fun!

    Advice for students:

    Always do your reading, and stay in communication with your learning team - they will be an immense help.
