    Course Overview:

    This class showed how to compose many different types of communication used in business (i.e. memos, letters, emails). It also went into detail on how to build a professional looking Power Point presentation.

    Course highlights:

    The most useful information from this class was how to build a professional Power Point presentation. Many of the upper level courses require Power Point presentations for assignments.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    When taking this course, ask questions if you do not understand something. The instructor and fellow students helped me through my problem areas and now I am passing the information on in my other courses.

    Course Overview:

    The instructor of this course was actively involved in the classroom. She answered questions that were asked quickly. This was a great first step to learning about communicating in a business setting.

    Course highlights:

    I learned how to communicate in cross culture and multinational business. I learned how to create persuasive messages by using the appropriate channels for delivery based on context. We also created resumes which was extremely helpful.

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    Always do all of the reading. Ask questions if you do not understand something. Think outside of the classroom, do more research on the topics in class.
