    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It was the last credit I needed for state certification so I too the History of Mathematics. I ended up learning so much about cultures other than Greek, Roman, and Egyptian that contributed to fundamental concepts in mathematics.

    Course highlights:

Learning the details about "zero" including where and why it was created. The beauty of mathematics was shown even more by the research required for the group project.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the group paper as well as the required eight posts/week. Writing a paper as a group is tough and you need to build in editing and compiling time. Also, don't be so prideful of your own writing as it will be changed when the final group paper is compiled.
