    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is a great course to introduce you into the world of research psychology, which is a really interesting subject.

    Course highlights:

This course offered a lot of insight into the world of research psychology. I feel like I learned a ton of useful information that I will be able to carry with me into other future courses, and into future careers after I finish school.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely recommend paying very close attention to the weekly readings, and spend the extra time re-reading. There are a lot of difficult concepts involved with research psychology, but if you are motivated and put in a little extra effort to try and and understand, you should be fine. Also, don't be afraid to ask your instructor for clarification on terms or concepts covered in the course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Engaging course with great information. Although the course requires excessive amounts of writing, the knowledge gained and material available are well worth it. Methodology is an important precursor to deciding your career path in the field of Psychology, as it helped to decide which way I wanted to go.

    Course highlights:

The course covers research development, quantitative methodologies, and qualitative methods. Extreme focus on literature reviews and methodology; be prepared to read a lot of information! I learned quite a bit about differentiating methods and evaluating research.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to read! Most of the class is comprised of reading and evaluating methods of research. I would recommend learning the definitions of all research methods ahead of time, as well as the difference between experimental and non-experimental methods and the ability to distinguish the two.
