Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is great for someone who wishes to enter the field of social work or case management. It opens your eyes and builds upon the foundation of the connection between the criminal justice system and the case management system. So often we think of the law/system as black and white; but, the case management system serves as the medium or that grey area. It helps to see the issues behind the actions and this course taught me how to do so.

    Course highlights:

The main highlights of the course were the processes of case management and how we handle case management from beginning to end. It allowed me to see how important it is to establish a trusting relationship with your client and how to maintain that relationship upon termination of the services you provide.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely advise students to have a passion for case management in either the public or private sector. If your goal is to help others via social work, counseling or case management services then this is the course for you. But please be open-minded because every patient or client will be different. One thing this course teaches you is how to approach everyone based on their individual personalities.
