    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it pushes you to understand what role you can play in helping those you teach with know that the teacher has to make sure there not one culture in the classroom is more than important than another. The teacher has to make all students welcome in the learning environment. This course taught us that the class should be an environment that is a comfortable place for all students to grow and explore. Education and Culture go hand, and hand and the educator must make this a relaxing process.

    Course highlights:

We were placed in groups and had to work through our different opinions to make a presentation, a professional guide, and a 1,000-word paper. These projects were to include our professional experiences and our research of court cases and incidents that were culturally related and what their outcomes were. This task was hard, but when it was done, we came out with a project that earned us a 100%.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell them to take advantage of all the materials that the teacher gives. It is so important that when teaching no child is left to feel like they can't learn because they are in a biased environment.
